Art and Photography GCSE students have proudly displayed their exam and course work at North Hill House School.

Photographs and art work encompassing many different mediums and materials have been displayed in the residential areas of the school. Staff, students and visitors who have spent time in the residential areas have admired the colourful work produced by the young people.

There are some talented young people at North Hill House School and art also has a positive therapeutic role to play in helping them to cope with their condition. Many people with autism have an ability to think visually and can turn that ability to good use recording images and visual information, and expressing ideas through drawing or other artistic media.  Art is a form of expression that requires little or no verbal interaction which can open doors to communication.
