At the end of the year, having completed their GCSE Art and Photography courses, our pupils displayed their hard work with a local exhibition at The Black Swan Arts Round Tower Gallery in Frome. The exhibition was opened by the Mayor of Frome, Mr Toby Elliott, and was open to members of the public for a week.
Pupils were at the exhibition to talk about their work and how they use the subject of art not only to be creative but to explore their feelings and emotions. This also provided pupils the opportunity to interact with the public and enhance their communication skills.
The exhibition is an annual event which is always well received by the people of Frome and they write encouraging comments in the visitor book.
