Unsted Park School praised for "effective and efficient leadership"...

Unsted Park School in Godalming, Surrey, has been praised by the independent education watchdog as a "good" school across the board following a recent inspection.

In its latest report, Ofsted highlighted how "staff focus effectively on the individual needs and wishes of the young people", and noted that "promoting the well-being of young people is central to how the school operates".

Its inspectors praised the range of physical activities available to pupils, and the school’s commitment to promoting fit and healthy living. Additionally, they commented on the importance attached to enhancing the emotional and mental health of students.

The senior leadership team were praised for providing "effective and efficient leadership".

Unsted Park School is an independent special school, it provides day and residential care for children from 7 to 19 years old with Asperger Syndrome, higher functioning autism and associated conditions.

The Principal of Aspris’s Unsted Park School, said: "Our focus is on delivering the highest quality care and education to our pupils through our specialist teaching, therapeutic and care teams.Their hard work is making a real and lasting difference to all of our pupils and I am delighted that Ofsted has recognised these achievements.
