From Year 10 onwards, students have the opportunity to take part in our work experience programme, which helps them to gain valuable employability skills. Many of our young people will take part in work experience as part of their chosen college course or ASDAN unit, however we also have a standalone work experience programme.
Our flexible approach allows us to tailored work placements to fit the young person and their level of need. For example, some students may choose to complete work experience as part of their ASDAN qualification over a full term, whereas others might attend for a short week-long block.
Tadley Court School has a number of links with local charities and businesses which enable us to organise work placements in a broad range of industries and so match young people’s individual areas of interest. Our students have previously completed work experience in:
