Welcome to Lawn House

Lawn House is a residential home for up to 6 young people aged 16-25 years with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD). The home also supports associated moderate learning difficulties such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), along with low risk mental health difficulties.

The home is rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is located within a city in Hampshire. The service is within walking distance of a wide range of amenities including shops, cafés and restaurants.

Supporting the needs of the young people

A highly experienced staff team deliver a range of individually tailored support to empower the young people at Lawn House to learn, develop and build life skills. The ultimate aim is for the young people to live independently, or with minimal support in the community.

The staff employ a nurturing approach and take full account of the voice of the young person. The team are experienced and skilled in assessing and developing care plans which are regularly reviewed, monitored and adjusted according to individual needs and preferences.

The young adults are supported to set themselves realistic goals and aspirations, and staff members work alongside them to achieve these. The residential staff also work closely with school and therapy staff to ensure that each young adult accesses the services they need to achieve their goals.
