Westover

Westover is a lovely family home based in Southampton close to the local parks and within walking distance of the town centre. It has a welcoming feel and a friendly atmosphere.

Our approach

Westover is home for up to 5 boys with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. The home has very strong links with Coxlease and Clay Hill School in the rural and tranquil setting of the New Forest; however they can also attend other educational provisions as well. The staff in the home work with a range of professionals to ensure the children and young people receive a high quality of care and bespoke support that allow them to achieve their potential. The staff team are a group of highly skilled and trained professionals who are committed to providing the highest levels of care and support to the young people they look after.

Our focus

To ensure that the children and young people in the home are respected, listened to and are given a voice to air their wishes and views. The aim of the staff in the home is to give the children and young people living there an enriched and fulfilled experience that meets their individual needs. All staff at Westover are very knowledgeable and know what the aims and objectives are of the home and of the individuals that they are supporting.
