Welcome to Fieldfare

Driving forward, always being positive, putting young people’s needs first and working closely with families and outside agencies ensures young people in our care have a safe and secure environment to grow and develop.

Our approach

Family is important to us at Fieldfare and we strive to become part of your extended family. Having strong core family values that helps our young people to grow into responsible young adults. Fun is an important part of development, we expect all of our young people and care team to have fun and enjoy their time with us. We are consistent and reliable no matter what you are feeling or what behaviours you display we will always be there for you. We understand that everyone is an individual and as such need an individual care plan, although we promote togetherness we also understand that some young people might want to do an activity by themselves. Young people have two key workers that will help you develop a planner that is individual to you and that meets your needs.

Our focus

Is to develop our young people’s sense of self and allow them to reach their full potential in a safe encouraging environment. Excellence is something we strive for; we aim high so our young people can aim high. We will give them every opportunity to become the person they want to be, we all of an area of excellence and it is up to us to allow our young people to unlock their potential. We understand everyone has off days and go through struggles from time to time, but we will always be there to help you work through your troubles and come up with a solution.

Our values

Integrity is something we expect from our team, working closely with all that are involved in the care of our young people. Allowing our young people a voice means they have a huge part to play in their care, with having a say in anything from what they want to eat to development of Fieldfare. This gives them the confidence that we are here for them and that they can speak out about any concerns. Links with our local community are vitally important. We want to be part of our community encouraging our young people to interact, joining local clubs and being part of local events.
