Aspris Children’s Services is led by an executive team with extensive knowledge and experience in specialist education and care, as well as a range of other relevant sectors.
John Anderson
Chief Operating Officer, Aspris Education 
John is the Chief Operating Officer for Aspris Education having previously worked for Priory Education and Children’s Services for over 10 years before moving over to Aspris.
John began his career at COMPAQ (now Hewlett-Packard) and qualified as a Process Engineer. He then retrained to be a DT teacher in mainstream schools, before making the switch to SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) schools. Since joining Priory/Aspris, John has progressed his career working in multiple roles from Aberdeen to Kent, including Head Teacher at Sheridan School, Regional Manager, Operational Director and Managing Director.
Outside of work, John has a young family and enjoys every moment of being a dad. You’ll often find him doing outdoor activities such as spending time at the coast, camping, cycling and walking with his wife, children and dog Harley.
Paula Stanford
Chief Operating Officer, Aspris Care 
Paula joins Aspris Children’s Services as the Chief Operating Officer for Aspris Care. Prior to this, Paula worked for the Priory Group, where she was a Managing Director and then Chief Operating Officer in the Healthcare Division.
Paula's career in health and social care spans 22 years. Having trained as a mental health nurse, she has worked in operational settings from Nurse to Chief Operating Officer in the public and independent sector, including significant experience leading specialist health and social care services for young people.
In her spare time, you’ll find Paula shopping, swimming, dancing and listening to music.
Rebecca Phillips
People Team Director
Rebecca joins Aspris having previously led the People Services function for Priory Group for over 5 years. She has over 14 years’ experience within the HR & People Services field across different sectors, including health & social care, education, financial services & construction. Rebecca is a values-driven and solution-orientated people and transformation leader.
Rebecca has extensive experience managing transformation and change programmes, including implementations of multiple systems and process improvement spanning across the whole People life cycle. Rebecca has a passion for people, culture and positive change to help deliver successful business performance and growth in an environment where colleagues are proud to be a part of and others want to join.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spending time with family and enjoys every second of being a ‘mum’ to her young daughter. Rebecca also likes exploring the outdoors and keeping active.
Steven O'Neill
Finance Director
Steven joins Aspris having previously held the position of Finance Director for Priory Education and Children’s Services since June 2016. Having joined the Priory Group in January 2011, Steven worked as a Finance Manager for both Education and Adult Care, in addition to roles in the central accounting function.
Steven has held a range of financial posts within the education sector, at a local authority level, as well as in the private sector. He is also a qualified Chartered Management Accountant. Steven enjoys both playing and watching football in his spare time.
