Many of the young people that we care for at Newbury Manor School have difficulties making and maintaining friendships. We encourage and support students to join groups and take up hobbies where they might be able to meet new people and make new friends and our care staff will always be on hand to support them in managing these friendships.
Staff also support young people in maintaining any existing recreational, sporting and cultural activities they enjoy as a way of developing their social, emotional and communication skills. Local activities available include:
